Scam - stay away! When presenting at the clinic with acute illness, I was assured the insurance (high grade well known expat insurance in my case) would cover everything. I was given care I initially refused and have not been given a price indication of any kind. On day 2 they started calling me and visiting me at the lodge (at the families dinner table!) and asking 1200usd+ for a simple consultation based on a scrible show on an phone screen. They refused to send the med report the insurance needed to open the case. They stalked me and my family the entire week of our holliday. Do not go here unless you are ready to give them a blanc check and pay amarican clinic prices for a basic gp service. Only focus here is on getting your money.

Unfortunately since arrival got shivers and cough, after few days of no improvement I was so weak that I passed out in hotel restaurant. Unconsciousness was short and went back to room for rest. Dr. Endale Eshetu with nurse Mr. Fred was knocking to my room after a few minutes. They got info from hotel staff and reaction was extremely fast. Dr. Endale made really wide review what happened and decided I need to be diagnosed and treated in hospital. Within all the difficulties I faced due to sickness this was best what could happen.

I came to the med express clinic just ask if they can sell me some antibiotics because i was feeling unwell with similar symptoms i usually take some pills, i meet dr Henok, he was very welcoming, well informed and súper fast he did some blood analysis and a scan and sorted with insurance really quick. i really reccomend this clinic.

Yesterday we had to visit the clinic, due to the deterioration of my husband's health, he had a bacterial infection, which was diagnosed in the clinic by Dr. Elia. We are delighted with his professionalism and great attitude. He was interested in how my husband was doing every day, did X-rays, blood tests and gave us all the necessary medications for his treatment. I highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Elia!

While staying at the hotel where this clinic is located, I developed allergies and shortness of breath due to the high pollen count. Dr. Endale helped me tremendously, and his care was very professional. He advised me, performed tests (including a blood test within 5 minutes), prescribed medication, and all symptoms disappeared within a short time. Thank you again!

While staying at Kiwengwa Beach Hotel I got sick. In the morning I visited the clinic and was immediately looked after. I was hooked up to a drip to help with dehydration and they took bloods. As I was complaining of stomach pains they also did an ultrasound and when the bloods came back a few hours later I was started on antibiotics as the results showed a bacterial infection. I’m really grateful to the doctors and nurses that looked after me - Dr Romel, Dr Endale and Nurse Fred in particular. I was discharged the following morning with antibiotics, electrolyte and pain relief. The only problem was with insurance, rather than using the ZIC insurance that we had to get on arrival they wanted insurance from our country. After me contacting ZIC myself it was finally resolved.

Dr Vitas Alphonce and Dr. Fred Élia are absolute professionals who provided us with exceptional care. Our case was somewhat trivial but our insurance was absolutely incopetent but these two doctors handled it perfectly. Really good people in a right place.

Dr Elia & Dr Vitas treated my husband today and we had an exceptional experience. We were very scared and skeptical but this hospital exceeded our expectations. They were very reassuring and calmed us down and the treatment was excellent. Even better than UK hospitals and doctors.

We needed a Dr for our 5 year old. We called MedExpress on Sunday morning and a Dr turned up at our villa within an hour.
He did not bring any equipment or gloves with him. He looked at the foot and declared that our son must be taken to hospital to run tests and determine a course of treatment.
The driver took us to the Kiwengwa Beach Resort, the clinic was located within the hotel.
The clinic was very modern and clean. They carried out some tests and had blood results within 30 minutes.
They called our insurance company for us and we gave permission for the claim to be raised. Confirmed the excess arrangements and didn't pay a penny. They're more than happy for direct payments from the insurance company, despite us notifying them of Zurich's notorious slowness and procrastination... They still declined when we offered to pay on site and claim back.
Overall very happy, although I felt the Dr arrived with the intention of taking our son to hospital either way.

They were both very friendly and professional. My girlfriend got sick and dehydrated. They ran multiple tests and gave her medicines and antibiotics. They also arranged food for us, that is beyond friendly!

Doctor Famous Warrior is so nice, my son had an accident, had 3 stitches on his head. Our Doctor was so patient and cleaned it, gave the antibiotics, made the follow up everyday….

I suffered a hip and spine accident during vacation and with the help of the doctors I was able to walk and resume my usual life within normal parameters. We came in with a painful infection for a child, and the care was both professional and compassionate. I highly recommend this clinic.

During my stay in Kiwengwa, I unfortunately had to go to the clinic because I was feeling very unwell. Dr. Ludovic picked me up from my hotel and accompanied me to the clinic. I have never experienced such thorough and attentive medical care. Dr. Ludovic patiently listened to my complaints and then treated me with great diligence. He did everything possible to help me recover quickly and was very professional throughout. By the evening, I was already feeling much better due to his treatment. The next day, my fever was gone, my inflammation levels were almost back to normal, and I was able to leave the clinic. Moreover, the clinic is very well equipped and new. The process with the health insurance was also trouble-free.

He also made I get in touch with my insurance by using office phone and my insurance covered all my expenses. The clinic is open 24/7hrs I really recommend 👍
